Charles Z. �Bit� Blalock, 84, of 4109 Old Laurens Road, husband of Helen Golding Blalock, died Friday, September 4, 2009. Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Luther Blalock and Louise Cooper Blalock Moore. He was retired from Greenwood Mills, Plant No. 5 and was a US Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Surviving is his wife of 64 years of the home, nieces and nephews.
