Charles E. Brewster, 82, of 112 Richardson Drive, widower of Mary V. Boles Brewster died Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Savannah Heights Living Center. Born in Pickens, he was a son of the late Elco and Idell Craft Brewster. Charles retired from Greenwood County Sanitary Department as a Supervisor and was a U. S. Army Veteran of WWII. He was preceded in death by a son Charles Edgar Brewster and by a brother Bill Brewster. Surviving is a daughter Mary Frances Gault, of Hickory Tavern; a son Earl Gary Brewster of Greenwood; a brother Earl Brewster of OK; twelve grandchildren; and twenty four great grandchildren. The family is at the home of his son, Gary Brewster, 208 Phillips Circle, Greenwood.
