Charles David Hoffman, 73, of 140 Marshall Circle, husband of Effie Cleveland Hoffman, died Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Hospice House. Born in North, SC, he was a son of the late Kizer Hoffman, Sr. and Aileen Sylvia Sturkie Hoffman. He was retired from Greenwood Mills, Chalmers Plant and was a member of Faith Temple Holiness Church, where he was a deacon and taught Sunday School. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Hoffman of North. Surviving is his wife of the home; a daughter, Karen Marlene Lee (Michael) of Troy; a son, Karl Hoffman (Deborah) of Greenwood; a brother, Kizer Hoffman, Jr. (Linda) of West Columbia; grandchildren, Effie Richele Bradley (Chris), Kevin Lee and Jason Butler and great grandchildren, Adia Fain and Devin Butler.
