Christopher Charles �Charlie� Gordon, 8, of 44 Smith Street, died Monday, December 7, 2009 at MUSC in Charleston. Born in Greenwood, he was a son of Charles Edward �Chuck� and Sharon Denise Christian Gordon. Charlie was a third grade student at Hodges Elementary School and was a member of Ware Shoals First Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Carroll Frances and Charles Harold �Harry� Gordon. Surviving in addition to his parents of the home; are a brother and sister-in-law, Eric Brian Hassler and Thea Brady of Greenwood; maternal grandparents, Sharon Teresa and James Stanley and Grover Lee and Teresa Christian, all of Greenwood; aunts, Sandy Hallman and her husband, Michael, of Sumter and Molly Merrifield of Greenwood and a cousin, Tyler Hallman of Sumter.
