Charles Raymond Hodge, 85, of 1224 Village Creek Lane, Apartment J-4, husband of Mary Kay Hodge, died Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Hospice Center of Charleston. Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Raymond Walker and Sara Cox Hodge. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of WWII and was retired from Flexible Technologies in Abbeville and was a member of First Baptist of Ninety Six where he was in the Men�s Bible Class and a member of the Sonshiners. He was twice married, first to the late Virginia Taylor Hodge. Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are a son, Charles Douglas Hodge and his wife Marianne of Pickens; a step daughter, Nancy Ann Kay of Charleston ; and three grandchildren, Christopher Gosnell of Boston, MA, Shirley Hodge and Dawn Hodge, both of Pickens. The family has requested that flowers be omitted and memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Ninety Six Building Fund, 205 North Church Street, Ninety Six, SC 29666 or to The Hospice Center, 676 Wando Park Blvd, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464.
