Charles E. Todd, 64, of 4408 Highway 25 South, husband of Geraldine Brown Todd, died Monday, October 17, 2011 at his home. Born in Abbeville, SC, he was a son of the late Charles Strong Todd, Jr. and Winnie Mae Todd. He was a graduate of Greenwood High School, received his B.A. degree in English from Lander University and received professional designations in insurance and risk management from the Insurance Institute of America. He retired from MARTA, Atlanta, where he worked in Risk Management. While in Atlanta, he served with the United Way, receiving awards for fundraising during their campaign drives. He was a founding member of the Greenwood Sertoma Club and was a member of Callie Self Memorial Baptist Church. Surviving is his wife of the home; three children, Ruth Todd Morgan of Buxton, NC, Charles Allen Todd (Jennifer) of Greenwood and Andrew Chapman Todd (Heather Harris) of Hodges; stepchildren, Russell �Russ� Harrison, Brad Harrison (Missy), Pamela Patterson, all of Greenwood and Priscilla Palmer (Roger) of Simpsonville; three sisters, Ruth Todd Boyd and Kathy Todd Darragh, both of Greenwood, and Linda Todd Bone of Abbeville; four brothers, Alan McCane Todd of Greenwood, David Crosby Todd of Abbeville, Daniel Kennedy Todd of Kirksey and Samuel McClain Todd of Greenwood; 12 grandchildren, Victoria Elizabeth Gonce of Ninety Six, Ashley Nicole Bateman, Christopher James Bateman and Andrew Allen Paul Bateman, all of Buxton, NC, Lewis Wilburn Todd of Greenwood, Alexus Paige Harris of Hodges, DeeAnne Morgan and Lewis Thomas Morgan, both of Buxton, NC, Madison Hope Harris of Hodges, Matthew Allen Todd and Catherine Anne Todd, both of Greenwood and Aiden Charles Todd of Hodges; six step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.
