Charlotte Landreth Alexander, 61, of 204 Lakeview Drive, widow of James Leonard �PeeWee� Alexander, died Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Grady Thomas and Pauline Hughes Landreth. She was employed by Eaton/Cutler-Hammer and was a member of Emerald Baptist Church. Charlotte loved spending time with her grandchildren and camping with her family and friends. Surviving are her children, James C. Alexander of Greenwood, Michelle Dawn Alexander Mercer (Benjamin) of Hodges and Willie Sweat (Carol) of Jacksonville, FL; brother, Ronnie Landreth (Lisa) of Greenwood; grandchildren, Michael Walton Alexander, Austin Lee Mercer, Brandon Wayne Mercer, Cheavy Lynn Mercer, Darian Sweat, Kimberly Sweat and Chloe Sweat; niece and nephew, Noah and Hollie Landreth; and her best friend, Karen Ivie. Pallbearers will be Willie Sweat, Jamie Alexander, Benjamin Mercer, Michael Alexander, Tommy Fallaw and Lee Ferqueron. Honorary escort will be Austin and Brandon Mercer.
