Christopher Carl Bell, 50, of 222 Daniel Road, Hodges, husband of Dara Cutter Bell, passed away Monday, February 6, 2023 at his home.

Born in Kings Mountain, NC, he was a son of the late Carl Glenn Bell and Rebecca Bolin Bell. Chris was a US Army National Guard veteran and formerly employed with Crown Casting, working in maintenance. He enjoyed all types of working, an avid fisherman, and talented drawer. He was a former member of Kings Creek Church of God.

He is survived by his wife, Dara of the home; his children, David Bell (Julie) of Mooresville, NC, Amber Fitzgerald (Christopher) of Sumter, and Zachary Cutter of Hodges; brother, Tim Bell of Blacksburg; and grandchildren, Peyton Reed, Poppy Fitzgerald, and Penelope Fitzgerald.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Rebecca Lynn Bell.

A memorial service, with military rites, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
