Obituary
John Chris Vinson, 50, of Greenwood, died Friday, May 8, 2020 at his home.
Born in Greenwood, he was the son of Annie Tullis Vinson and the late John Thomas "Tommy" Vinson.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Vinson.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his fiancée Jeannie McAlister; his children, Hunter Vinson, Grey Vinson and Savanna Vinson; step children, Tanner McAlister, Dylan McAlister, Megan Simmons (Mike) and Marie Brown; six grandchildren; a sister, Reba Vinson; stepmother, Tauna Vinson; stepsisters, Mandy Lamb (Buck) and Penny Davenport (Destry); aunts, Judy V. Long, Debbie V. Silk, Susie McAllister; uncle, Lonzo Tullis (Teresa); and a host of other family members.
A private graveside service will be held at Bethlehem Union Church Cemetery and webcasting of that service will be available Tuesday on Chris's life tribute page at www.harleyfuneralhome.com , where you can visit to send messages to the family.
The family is at the home of his mothers, 107 Sara Drive, Greenwood.
