Christopher Eugene Willis, 59, of 225 Freeway Road, husband of Kathy Craven Willis died on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Hospice House.
Born in Greenwood, he was a son of Murree Cheek Nelson and the late George T. Willis, Jr. Chris worked for ATS at EATON Hydraulics and was formerly employed with Fluor Daniel at Solutia. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of Vietnam and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are his wife of the home; his mother and stepfather, Lester Nelson; a daughter, Shanna Manley and her husband, Daniel; a son Patrick Adam Craven all of Greenwood; two sisters, Yvonne Mims of Ward and Dianne Sears of Troy; a brother, George A. Willis of Greenwood; and grandchildren, Kylee, Madelyn, Jordan Manley, and a grandson, Cooper Christopher Manley, expected to be born in May.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm on Sunday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with Keith Sperry, David Roe, Matt Chastine and Jimmy Tucker officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 5 to 7 pm.
