Christine Riviere Goodenough, 87, widow of Charles Goodenough, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Barnesville, GA, she was the daughter of the late Walter Scott Riviere and Effie Sutton Riviere. Christine retired from Greenwood School District 50 where she was the cafeteria manager at Pinecrest Elementary School. Surviving are a daughter, Christy G. Smith of Beaufort; two sons, Richard Goodenough of Beaufort and Lee Goodenough of Spartanburg; ten grandchildren: Tina Leslie Batchler, Michael C. Leslie, Bonnie C. Maratea, Russell Clifton, Andrew Clifton, Richard Riviere Goodenough, Anna Carlton Goodenough, Amanda Elizabeth Goodenough, Jonathon D. Smith and Sara Smith Arnaud; and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary �Sue� Goodenough Clifton.
