Cindy Lou Ridenour, 61 of 404 Morgan Avenue, Greenwood, lost her courageous battle with lung cancer on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at her home. Born in Idar Oberstein, Germany, she was a daughter of Ray L. Burgess, Sr. and the late Alice Becker Burgess. Cindy enjoyed working with the elderly at Wesley Commons. She was preceded in death by two fur babies, Timmy and Precious. Surviving in addition to her father of Melbourne, FL; are two daughters, Jennifer Arter (Alonzo) of Wellford, SC and Stephanie Johnson of Greenwood; a son, Shawn Burgess (Ivette) of Ladys Island, SC; a sister, Katie Burgess of Charlotte; a brother, Ray L Burgess, Jr. (Amparo) of Palm Beach, FL; a granddaughter, Olivia Meadow Burgess of Lady's Island; and two fur babies, Bandit and Daisy.
