Charles Jesse "C.J," Poland, 31, of Greenwood, passed away June 16, 2023.

Born in Greenwood, he was the son of Keith Poland and the late Ruthie Lipe Poland. CJ was a true outdoorsman and loved fishing. When CJ was younger he attended church, activities, and field trips with the Sunday school. He also enjoyed listening to music and hanging out with his friends.

He is survived by his grandmother, Marie Lipe; aunt, Angela Fleming, both of Greenwood; brother, Sean Poland (Cat) of North; sister, Makala Poland (Sebastian) of Pelzer and multiple extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruthie and papa, Jess Lipe.

Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy Ouzts officiating.

The family will receive friends before the service from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
