Claude M. Conyers, 90, formerly of 1513 South Main Street, widower of Mary Turner Conyers, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Magnolia Manor. Born in Bamberg, he was the son of the late Joe H. and Tabatha Clem Conyers. Claude was an U. S. Navy veteran of WWII and retired from Abney Mills after 41 years of service. He attended Ninety Six Church of God. Surviving are his children; Annie Hill, Barry (Judy) Conyers, Faye (Jerry) Davis, Timmy (Kathy) Conyers, all of Greenwood, Kenneth Conyers of Chappells, Nancy (Teddy) Price of Saluda and Sandy (Dick) Fojtik of Washington State; twenty one grandchildren; thirty eight great grandchildren; and fifteen great-great grandchildren. The family is at their respective homes and at the home of his daughter, Faye Davis, 105 West Gate Drive, Greenwood, SC.
