Our precious husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, Claude Douglas Ferqueron, 68, entered the gates of Heaven on September 29, 2015. Born July 11, 1947, Claude was a son of the late Ollie and Gladys Whitten Ferqueron. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War, where he was a recipient of the Purple Heart. Surviving is his loving wife, Kaye "Cookie " Jackson Ferqueron; children, Sherry F. McClary (Ken), Donald Keith Swancey (Teresa), Claude Douglas Ferqueron, II (Carie) and Angela F. Davis; sisters, Roberta Salters and Pat Clary; brothers, George Ferqueron, Ronnie Ferqueron, Jerry Ferqueron and Terry Ferqueron; grandchildren, Douglas Ferqueron, III, Bryson Ferqueron, Kaylynn Ferqueron, Chandler Ferqueron, Caleb McClary, Emma Davis and Summer Varner and great grandchildren, Skylyn Varner and Owen Varner. The family would like to extend sincere appreciation to Dr. John Holman and all of the physicians, nurses and caregivers who were a part of our journey for the past two years.
