Claudette Simmons Madden, 76, of 1408 Parkway, widow of Irvin Edgar Madden, Jr., died Thursday, August 04, 2011 at Hospice House. Born in Greer, she was the daughter of the late Milton Simmons and Ernestine Brannon Simmons Satcher. Claudette retired from Grimes Aerospace and was a member of Emerald Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, Walter (Gail) Madden of Hodges; a daughter, Tracy M. (Jason) Goldman of Greenwood; a brother, Jack (Doris) Simmons of Greenwood; four grandchildren, Jeremi (Jen) Madden, Samuel Madden, Autumn Goldman and Noel Goldman; and two nieces, Karen Ivie and Lynn Simmons. Pallbearers will be Mack Goldman, Mark Madden, Barry Ford, Alton Boland, John Wham and G. W. Hall. Honorary escort will be the members of her Sunday school class. .
