Clayton "Clay" Arthur Denio, Sr., 52, of 1775 Proposal Avenue, Chester, husband of Wendy Ferqueron Denio, died Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Carolina Medical Center.

Born in Leominster, MA, he was a son of the late Carol Cefalo. Clay was the plant manager at Circle S Ranch and was a proud member of the NRA. He was of the Catholic faith.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Norman Denio.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are his children: C. J. Denio, (Katherine) of Rock Hill, Tony Denio (Brittany) of Edgemoor, Ray Harvley (Alexis) of Ninety Six, Suzy Harvley (Andy) of Abbeville and Willie Harvley of Ninety Six; three sisters, Kimberly Miller (Jeffrey) of MA, Tammy Lemay (Michael) of NH and Sharon Cefalo (Nannette) of MA; a brother, James Denio (Sue) of MA; seven grandchildren; and his beloved pet "Jezzi".

Services will be held at 3 pm on Sunday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood, SC with Mr. Ferrel Smith officiating.

The family will receive friends before the service at the funeral home from 1 to 3 pm.

The family requests that all in attendance dress in casual attire and in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Hospice Care of the Piedmont, 408 West Alexander Ave., Greenwood, SC 29646.

Family members are at their respective homes.
