Clifford M. Montplaisir, 89, of 1110 Marshall Road, husband of Sylvia Gordon Montplaisir, died Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Wesley Commons. Born in Minot, ND, he was a son of the late Theodore and Teresa Tessier Montplaisir. He retired from Cooper Industries, Power Systems Division, and was a US Army veteran of World War II. He competed internationally in free-flight model airplane competition for decades. Mr. Montplaisir attended Main Street United Methodist Church. Surviving is his wife of the home; a daughter, Michelle Montplaisir of Boston, MA and a son, Charles G. Montplaisir of Quakertown, PA. He was preceded in death by a son, Scott Thomas Montplaisir.
