James Clyde �PeeWee� Balchin, 79, of 301 Draper Avenue, husband of Grace Ray Balchin, died Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Elberton, GA, he was a son of the late Ellis and Vera Fleming Balchin. He was a sales associate in the hardware department of Wal-Mart and was a member of the Congregational Holiness Church, where he attended the Senior Class. Surviving is his wife of the home; a son, Rickey Balchin of Abbeville; a daughter, Barbara Phillips of Greenwood; four grandchildren, Lissa, Jason, Michael and Dwayne, Jr.; and four great grandchildren, Haylee, Levi, Cohen and Sammi.
