Clyde Harvley, 88, of 9 Catawba Avenue, Greenville, formerly 7403 Hwy 25 South, Ninety Six, widower of Christine Smallwood Harvley, died Tuesday, May 5, 2015. Born in Greenwood, he was the son of the late Lewis M. Harvley and Margaret Caroline Worthington Harvley. Clyde retired from Monaghan Plant and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Diann Sweat Nalley. Surviving are his children: Clyde Harvley, Jr. (Pam) of Cherryville, NC, Dean Harvley (Dicee) of Greenville, Teddie Harvley (Julie) of Greenville, John Seabolt, Kenneth Harvley (Terina), both of Greenwood, and Brenda Riggins of Greenville; two sisters, Mary Alice Hollingsworth of Ninety Six and Gladys Cathryn Hall of Marietta, SC; fourteen grandchildren; and many great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jessie Harvley, Preston Harvley, Freddie Harvley, Timmy Harvley, Lee Knight, Jack Hazel, Jr. and Todd Hammonds.
