Clyde �T. L.� Carter, of 233 Jebosha Drive Widower of Nancy Lee Carter died Sunday, January 31, 2010 at his home. Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Evelyn Bateman. He worked for Greenwood Mills and attended Pine Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church. Surviving is a son, Clyde Carter and his wife Claudia Harrison Carter, of Greenwood; a daughter, Trudy Lee Gambrell of Greenwood; two brothers, Benny Carter and Ronnie Bateman, both of Greenwood; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Pete Pittman, David Pittman, Matthew Pittman, Curtis Murphy and Wesley Parten. The family is at the home of his son, Clyde Carter, 229 Jebosha Drive Lot 85, Greenwood, SC 29646.
