Clyde O. �Catfish� McAlister, 76, of 136 Thompson Drive, husband of Sarah Nell Hodges McAlister, died Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Hospice House. Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late William T. and Ruby Horne McAlister. He retired from Pet Dairy Company, Greenwood Plating and Precision Plus and was the owner of Cat�s Convenience Store. He was a Past Master of Mathews Lodge #358 A.F.M., was a Hejaz Shriner and was a former Hejaz Clown. He was a volunteer fireman with Northwest Volunteer Fire Department and was a member of Harris Baptist Church and the Master Disciple Sunday School Class. Surviving is his wife of the home; his daughter, Debbie Parker (Bobby) and his son, Tony McAlister (Jennie), all of Greenwood; two brothers, William Allen McAlister (Barbara) of Anderson and William T. McAlister (Sandra) of Cross Hill; grandchildren, Travis Allen (Terri), Nicholas Allen, Nathan McAlister (Lindsey), Jonathan McAlister (Erin Crotts) and Meredith McAlister and great grandchildren, Will Allen, Parker McAlister, Mathew Allen and Natalie McAlister, all of Greenwood.
