Colie Franklin Harrison, 67, of 1001 Old Abbeville Highway, husband of Linda Davis Harrison, died Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Self Regional Healthcare.
Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Lee Roy Harrison Sr. and Helen Hazel Harrison. He was a carpenter by trade, working with his father and brothers for many years, and was retired from Greenwood Mills, Matthew Plant. He was a member of South Greenwood Assembly of God.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are his two sons, Colie Jamey Harrison (Roberta) of Greenwood and Jason Christopher Harrison (Chelsea) of Abbeville; two sisters, Myrtis Louise Forehand (Rev. Bob) and Mary Elizabeth Walker (J.W.), both of Ninety Six; three brothers, Rev. Carroll Eugene Harrison (Lois), Walter "Jack" Harrison, and Lee Roy Harrison, Jr.(Norma), all of Greenwood; three grandchildren, Kadon Jace Harrison, Layne Christopher Harrison, both of Abbeville and Cheyenne Nicole Harrison of Greenwood.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Roy Harrison and John Donnie Harrison.
Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob Forehand and Rev. Carroll Harrison officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Walter "Jack" Harrison, Roy Duane Harrison, Lee Roy Harrison Jr., J.W. Walker, Robert "Bob" Rush, and Will Hinton.
Honorary escort will be Eddie Coleman and Roy Owen.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
