The Reverend Clarence Curtis Boswell, 83, of 2432 Scotts Ferry Road, Ninety Six, husband of Margaret LeCroy Boswell, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at his home. Born in Elberton, GA, he was a son of the late Clifton Otis and Sallie Mae Slay Boswell. He was a drywall contractor and was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, where he was a recipient of the Combat Infantryman Badge, Purple Heart, Army of Occupation Germany Medal, National Defense Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Korean Defense Medal with 2 stars and United Nations Defense Medal. He was a member of Joppa Lodge #387 A.F.M. and Trinity Baptist Tabernacle. Surviving is his wife of the home; children, Timothy Charles �Chuck� Boswell of Ninety Six; Tami Richey and Tim Richey, both of Greenwood; 17 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren and many precious friends including Barbara and Cullen Montjoy, Joy Newcomb, Joy and Suzanne Matheson. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family and was also preceded in death by sons, Gary Richey and Mike Richey.
