Curtis �Curly� Walters, 53, of 148 Douglas Road, Waterloo, husband of Susan Widener Walters, died Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at Hospice House, Greenwood. Born in Altoona, PA, he was a son of Curtis Cuff and the late Jean Virginia Stiver Walters. Curly was a pipe fitter with Thompson Mechanical Group and formerly with Fuji Film and MBC Construction. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Sons of the South Motorcycle Club. Surviving in addition to his wife of the home and his father of Altoona, PA are four children: Christy Rose, Cody Walters, both of the home Joshua Rose of Orangeburg and Jamie Riley of Altoona, PA; four sisters: Patricia Stiver of Chester, Mary Lou Larkin of Las Vegas, NV, Ronnie Jean Walters and Juanita Kaufman both of Flinton, PA; three brothers: John Rickett of Detroit, MI, Daniel Walters of Altoona, PA and his twin, Clair Gilbert Walters of Sinking Valley, PA; and two grandchildren: Olivia Rose and Karrie Rose. Pallbearers will be John Joey Butler, Scotty Burton, Charles Payton, Carson Cromer and Jeff Hutto. Honorary escort will be Norman Miller, Steve Alexander, David Hawkins and Kenny Boles.
