Obituary
Cynthia Blackburn, 98, formerly of 153 Henderson Street, widow of D. M. Blackburn, died Sunday, September 18, 2016 at NHC Health Care Center of Greenwood.
Mrs. Blackburn was born in Saluda County on March 24, 1918, a daughter of the late Henry and Sarilla Sudduth.
Surviving is a son, Wayne Blackburn of Greenwood; a sister, Marie Pearson of Greenwood; two granddaughters and six great grandchildren.
Graveside services were held on Tuesday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Barry Butler officiating.
Wayne wishes to thank the nursing, CNA and administrative staff at NHC for the professional and compassionate care they have shown his mother for the past twelve years, and also extends appreciation to the staff of Caris Health Care for their compassionate care.
