It is with joy and love that we celebrate the life of Cynthia Denise Williams, 63, of Bradley, SC. Cynthia, a beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on November 30, 2024, after a long battle with cancer.

Born on March 29, 1961, in Hawkinsville, GA, Cynthia was the daughter of the late Thomas Walker Coley and Grace Smallwood Chambers. She lived a life full of passion, resilience, and determination. She embraced each new challenge, excelling in a variety of careers and was always eager to learn and grow.

A true "Jill of all trades," Cynthia earned a certification as a hang glider pilot, was a talented and self-taught artist, and a master gardener. Her green thumb allowed her to cultivate a beautiful garden which became a sanctuary for both her family and local wildlife. A devoted lover of the outdoors, Cynthia also found joy in riding roller coasters and her Harley Davidson motorcycle, often seeking adventure and new experiences.

Her heart was as expansive as her talents; she devoted several years to animal rescue, caring for countless animals in need. Cynthia spent time making beds for rescue animals at Greenwood Humane Society, ensuring comfort for those less fortunate.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Walker Coley, Jr.

She is survived by her loving husband, George Williams; her children, William Sheets (Jenine Shelhart), Christopher Sheets (Casey Hargett) and Shannon Gunter (Alan). Her legacy of love, creativity, and compassion will be cherished by all who knew her.

The family will hold a private memorial service to celebrate Cynthia's life at a later date.
