Darcus Jackson Botts, 92, of 1504 Woodlawn Road, widow of Claude William Botts, died Friday, March 12, 2010 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Fletcher A. and Gussie Bridges Jackson. She was retired from Greenwood Mills, Mathews Plant and was a seamstress. She was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mary Frances Stennett and her husband, John D. Stennett, and Norma Doolittle, all of Greenwood; a son, Dewey Botts and his wife, Frances, of Forest City, NC; a sister, Mattie Dalton of Forest City, NC; a brother, Boyce Jackson of Rutherfordton, NC; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
