Darron Edward Harmon, 29, of 129 Berry Drive, died Monday, February 10, 2014. Born in Richland County, he was a son of Larry O. Harmon and Peggy Bannister Butler. Darron was finishing his senior year at Lander University and was an Assistant Manager at University Commons. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith. Surviving are two brothers, Tim Cartee of Greenwood and Andy Harmon (Cameron) of Fayetteville, NC; a niece Alexandra Harmon of Fayetteville; three godchildren, Aydan, Rylie, and Cadence Bodie all of Greenwood; two cousins, Chris Brooks and Jodi Sease (Benji) and their children, Dylan, Kadance, Gaines, all of Newberry; and two uncles, Ronny Bannister (Dianne) of Newberry and Bucky Bannister (Michael Koch) of Tucson, AZ. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Mooseheart School c/o Greenwood Moose Lodge, 1315 Ninety Six Highway, Greenwood, SC 29646 or a Charity of one�s choice. The family is at the home.
