Daryl Luke McCarthy, 29, of 201 Pinelake Drive, Ninety Six, died Saturday, May 19, 2018.

Born in Greenwood he was the son of the late John Mark McCarthy, Sr. and Linda Sophia Jones McCarthy. Luke was employed by C.L.C. Tree Service and was a member of New Spring Church.

Surviving are his children, Alonna Love McCarthy and John-Lee Dakota McCarthy, both of Ninety Six; his stepmother, Mary McCarthy of Ninety Six; sisters, Alisha Marshall (Nick) of Abbeville, Leslie Hastings, and Misty Connelley (Daymone), both of Ninety Six; a brother, Toyce Ned McCarthy, III of Ninety Six, and paternal grandmother, Martha Riley Finley of Ninety Six.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, John Mark McCarthy, Jr. and Dakota James McCarthy and his sister, Jacqualine "Jackie" McCarthy.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chuck Sprouse and Mr. Wayne Newton officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Toyce Ned McCarthy, III, Nick Marshall, Matthew Hamrick, Josh Marshall, Donovan Moss, Randy Smith, Daymone Connelley.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
