Obituary
David Reece Farmer, 57, of Greenwood, passed away Monday, November 20, 2023, at Self Regional Medical Center.
Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Bruce William Farmer and Jeanette Eleanor Smith Farmer.
David was a heavy equipment operator with Herbert Anderson Construction and in his younger years, he had a passion for golfing. He enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden, had a special fondness for animals and was often seen taking leisurely walks with "Nalah", the family dog. David had a deep love for his family and cherished every moment spent with them.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby D. Farmer.
Surviving are his children, Daniel Farmer and Brooke Farmer; sister, Shirley Lynn Fair (Steve); brothers, Stan Bruce Farmer and Lee Farmer (Tammy); granddaughter, Trinity McGuire; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A private family celebration will be held at a later date.
