David Junior Owens, 66, of Ninety Six, husband of Teresa Ford Owens, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025, at his home.

Born in Elton, Maryland, he was the son of the late Carl Junior Owens and Julia Trail Owens. David was a hard worker throughout his life and worked as a grader in the construction business for many years. He was a cherished grandfather, whose love for the outdoors was only rivaled by his affection for his grandkids. Family meant everything to him, and he will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are a son, David Eugene Owens (Angela); daughters, Candi O'Bryan (Aaron), and April Owens (John Quarles); a stepson, Walter Fuller; a sister, Doris Fugate; grandchildren, Hunter, Justin, Madison, Chelsey, Tyler, Haley, and Cody; and seventeen great grandchildren.

David was preceded in death by stepsons, Joey Ford and James Ford; and a sister, Carol Ann Joiner.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at 11 am at Harley Funeral Home Chapel.
