It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dennis Lynn Boswell, 66, who departed this life on April 30, 2026.

  Born on June 29, 1959, in Jacksonville, Florida, he was the son of the late David Vernon Boswell and Dorothy Price Boswell. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Dwight Boswell and Eddie Boswell.

  Dennis was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Pamela Stewart Boswell, and a loving presence in the lives of his family. He was a proud father to his sons, Chase Boswell and Justin Boswell, and a cherished grandfather to Alice Bell, Annabel Ackerman Boswell, and Arya Boswell, who brought him immeasurable joy. He is also survived by his sister, Debbie Ashley.

  A man of service, Dennis proudly served his country as a member of the 175th Ranger Battalion from 1977 to 1984. Following his military service, he continued a life of hard work and dedication through various roles, including time as a police officer, fifteen years with Capsugel, and more than a decade as a truck driver. In every chapter of his life, he was known for his reliability, perseverance, and strength.

  Dennis will also be remembered for his warm sense of humor. He had a natural way of making people laugh, often joking and bringing a lightness to any room. His laughter and playful nature were gifts he shared freely, leaving lasting smiles with those who knew and loved him.

  The family will receive friends at Harley Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
