Dennis W. Boyer, 74, of Cross Hill, husband of Regena Storey Boyer; passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born on April 21, 1951, in Baltimore, Maryland, he was a son of the late Norman W. Boyer and Annabelle Solley Boyer. Dennis lived a life dedicated to service, family, and community.

Dennis was a proud veteran of the Army Reserve, who devoted 20 years to the Baltimore City Police Department, where he served with honor and integrity. After his retirement, he continued to make a difference in people's lives as an officer at Piedmont Technical College in Greenwood. His commitment to public service extended beyond his career; as a member of the Cross Hill Masonic Lodge #159, he served as treasurer, reflecting his dedication to building a stronger community.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Regena Boyer; son, Christopher Boyer (Risa); sister, Carol Sears (Jim); brother, Wayne Boyer (Bonnie); grandchildren, Megan and Rebecca; and great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Oliver.

Services, with military honors and masonic rites, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends before the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
