Dennis Derrell Green, 77, of Ninety Six, husband of Marie Moore Green, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2025 at his home.

Born on April 27, 1948 in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Alvin "Peanut" Green and Ellen Moss Green.

Dennis was a dedicated and respected machinist at Eaton before retiring. His commitment and strong work ethic were well-known among his colleagues. Outside of his work, Dennis had a passion for a few unique hobbies. He was an avid enthusiast of electronics and a great love for aquariums. Dennis was also a man of faith. He attended Faith Home Chapel and volunteered at the Faith Home for 17 years.

He is survived by his wife Marie of the home; brother, Dwayne Green of Ninety Six; two grandchildren, Destiny Rawls and Justin Rawls; great grandchild, Jayden Barrentine; and fur baby, Dos.

He was preceded in death by his son, Cheyenne Green.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy Ouzts officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
