Dennis Wayne Lomax, 63, of 2207 E. Cambridge Road, husband of Edith Pridmore Lomax, died Thursday, September 17, 2009 at Hospice House. Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Ernest Jefferson and Sara Frances Collins Lomax. He was employed by Velux and was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Ninety Six Church of God and the Sanctuary Sunday School Class. Surviving are his wife of the home; three daughters, Tonya Lynn Billingsley, Kristy Denise Lomax and Robyn Philyaw Chambers, all of Anderson; six sisters, Virginia Clary and Nina Turner, both of Greenwood, Faye Horne and Joyce Horne, both of Hodges, Linda Pound of Lexington and Jenette Kennedy of Waterloo; three brothers, Raymond Lomax and Donald Lomax, both of Greenwood and James Lomax of Iva; five grandchildren, Kimberlee Lomax, Dustin Crawford, Kinson Crawford, Brayden Chambers and Madilyn Diana Grace Jordan. He was preceded in death by a sister, Rachel Massey.
