Dewey E. Price, 80, of 201 Anchor Road, widower of Carolyn Janice Shirley Price, died Saturday, December 16, 2017 at ANMED Health.

Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Lloyd Clyde and Bertha Lee Davis Price. Mr. Price was a retired Veteran from the US Navy after 22 ½ years of service. After retirement he drove charter buses for Citizens Bus Line, Dutch Boy, and Coach Charters. He attended Providence Baptist Church.

Surviving are his children, Keith Price (Vicki) of Omaha, NE, Jeff Price (Theresa) of Greenwood, and Tammie Pope (Milton) of Columbia; sisters, Mary Hodges, Ruth Leopard (Royce), both of Hodges, Merle Hill (Milo) of Roebuck, and Nancy Holtzclaw (James) of Broomfield, CO; grandchildren, Chris Price of San Francisco, CA, Shannon Price (Rob) of Wichita, KS, Sarah Golubnichii (Nick) of Charleston, Buck Price (Kirby) of Camp Lejeune, NC, Malyn Pope of Columbia, and J.C. Pope of Sasebo, Japan; great grandchildren, Austin Price of Waterloo; Oakley Price of Camp Lejeune, NC and Aerianna Pool of Lawrence, KS.

He was preceded in death by a son, Chuck Price; a sister, Dot Manley; and two brothers, Rudy Price and Bo Price.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lamar Babb officiating. Burial, with full military honors, will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
