James Dewitt �PeeWee� Thomas, 84, of 336 W. Creswell Avenue, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at NHC Healthcare. Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late William L. and Rebecca Wells Thomas. He was retired from Grendel Mill and was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was of the Methodist faith. Surviving is a sister, LuElla Yeargin and a brother, Ralph Thomas and his wife, Betty, all of Greenwood; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.
