Donald "Don" Wayne Farmer, age 56, of Greenwood, SC, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2026.

Throughout his life, Don dedicated himself to his craft as a welder and fabricator in the industrial welding industry, where he was known for his skill and work ethic. Outside of work, he had a passion for drag racing, especially with his beloved Mustangs. Don enjoyed watching MMA fighting and was an avid listener of classic rock.

Don is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Melissa; his children, Rachel (Keller) McGovern and Mathew (Morgan) Farmer; his cherished grandchildren; Karver, Audree and Myles McGovern; his father, Wayne Farmer; his mother, Janice Farmer and his sister, Aimee Farmer. Don cherished every moment spent with his family and his "little Buddies," whose laughter filled his home with joy.

A private celebration of Don's life will be held at a later date.
