Donald "Don " Eugene McKinney, 68, of 225 Susan Lynn Drive, widower of Camilla "Cammie " Laman McKinney, died Saturday, July 4, 2015 at his home. Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Jasper Barney "J.B. " and Louise Fox McKinney. Donald was a retired carpenter and was of the Methodist faith. Surviving are three children, Karen Lewis of Laurens, Tina Broom of Alabama, and Tasona Jenkins of Mississippi; two sisters, Carolyn McKinney of Piedmont and Marcie Rogers of the home; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne McKinney, Sr. In lieu of flowers the family asks that they be omitted and memorials be made to Laurens County Humane Society; P.O. Box 964 Laurens, SC 29360. The family members are at their respective homes.
