Donald Lewis Henderson, 75, of Greenwood, SC, husband of Bonnie Wade Henderson, passed away Friday, April 3, 2015 at Self-Regional Hospital. Born September 2, 1939 in Greenville, he was a son of the late Robert Henderson, Sr. and Brunette Sammons Wyatt. Mr. Henderson was a Vietnam veteran serving in the US Air Force and was a retired Electrical Engineer with Greenwood Mills and Davis & Floyd. He was a member of Rice Memorial Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Albert Henderson, Jr. In addition to his wife of nearly forty-seven years, he is survived by his daughters, Marina H. Burke and Dee H. Owen, brothers, Thomas Wyatt and Keith Wyatt; sisters, Carolyn Lowry, Lynn Solas and Carol Rogers; and grandchildren, Audre Owen and Trey Owen. Pallbearers will be Mark Henderson, Chris Wade, Robert Lowry, Andy Lucas, Wade Scott, John Wesley Scott, James Owen, Jr., Tony Booth, Sid Cole and Bill Hozey. Honorary escort will be Neil Scott.
