Obituary

Donna Rose Graves Ritchie "Grams", 86, of Ninety Six, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2026.

Born on September 12, 1939, in Syracuse, Kansas, she was a daughter of the late James Lloyd Graves and Velma Rose Moore Graves.

Donna retired after 28 years of service at Cooper Power, where she was known for her commitment and hard work. She was a life member of Greenwood Shores Baptist Church in Ninety Six, SC, a place that played an important role throughout her life.

Donna was a woman of many interests. She enjoyed watching old westerns like Gun Smoke and Wagon Train and was a fan of music legends Elvis Presley and Merle Haggard. Chuck Norris and Steven Seagal’s movies also brought her joy. She loved cooking and crocheting, often sharing her homemade crafts and delicious meals with those she cared about. Taking walks was another simple pleasure she cherished. Above all, Donna especially loved being a grandmother and great-grandmother, roles that brought her immense happiness.

She is survived by her children, Brenda  Beyer (Doug), Harold Ritchie (Cindy), and Mark Ritchie (Jennifer); her sister, Darleen Demel; her brother, Jim Graves; her grandchildren, Lindsay Beyer, Christie Brama (Billy), Manda Ruff (Robin), Mark Ritchie Jr.(Elaina), Brittni Clamp (Will), Casey Ham (Justin), Ryan Ritchie (Kieriona), and Angie Martin (Michael); 17 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and best friends, Ken Cooper, and Lynn Hall..

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Gail Johnson; her brother, Allen Graves; grandson, Jody Stewart; brother-in-law, Tom Demel; and best friends, Bonnie Williams and Shirley Leckliter.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at Greenwood Shores Baptist Church with the Rev. Graves officiating.

The family will receive friends before the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the church.

Donna Rose Ritchie will be remembered for her warm heart, her steadfast faith, and the joy she found in life’s simple pleasures. She enriched the lives of all who knew her and leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will endure in the hearts of her family and friends.
