Obituary
Doris Lee Poole Campbell, 76, of Greenwood, wife of John K. Poole, passed away Monday, May 1, 2023 at Self Regional Medical Center.
Born in Logan, WV, she was a daughter of the late William Burgess and Minnie Marie Burgess. Doris loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed pretty flowers, collecting angels, and watching her saltwater fish aquarium.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Bagwell of Ware Shoals; sister, Evelyn Worley (Steve) of West Virginia; brother, Lawrence Burgess; grandchildren, Amanda Caughman (Matthew), Carla Jeffers (Willie), Cory Ray Campbell, Kayla Collins, and Brianna Campbell; great grandchildren, Davis Walden (Ashton), Anna Glenn, Bella Walden, Karsyn Thompson, and McKenzi Thompson; great great grandson, Dallas Hayes Walden; and best friend, Jeannie.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Shawn Campbell, Earl Campbell, and Charles Campbell; son-in-law, Marvin Bagwell; sister-in-law, Nancy Burgess; and great grandson, Carson Edwards.
No services will be held per Doris' request.
