Doris Knight Cox, 86, formerly of Wisewood Apts., widow of Raphard L. Cox, died Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Magnolia Manor.

Born in Oconee County, she was a daughter of the late Claude and Emma Rice Knight and was of the Church of God faith.

Surviving is her son, Raphard Leon Cox (Donna) of Stillwater, OK; two daughters, Sherryl Motte (James) of Johnson City, TN and Tammy Hanna (Johnny) of Greenwood; a sister, Christine McCurry; six brothers, Jimmy Knight, Bobby Knight, Uvil Knight, Ray Knight, Truman Knight and Morris Knight; grandchildren, Diane Littlefield (Alan), Billy Cox, Lee Cox (Chasity), James Motte (Amy), Jennifer Sherman (John), Jason Motte (Caitlin), Justin Motte (Kara), Brelynn Motte, Melissa Cleveland (Clay), Shane Hanna and Brit Hanna; 18 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Services will be at 12 noon on Saturday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Cutter and the Rev. Jonathan Shook officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Billy Cox, Lee Cox, Jonathan Motte, Joel Sherman, Jesse Cox, and Jacob Cox.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon.

The family is at the home at Wisewood Apts., #60.
