Doris Leone "Goose" DeNardi, 84, of 204 Saluda Street, Ninety Six, widow of John Allen DeNardi, died Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at her home.
Born in Siloam Springs, AR, she was a daughter of the late Harold Ernest Smith and Ethel Pearl Ballou Smith. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Doris worked with San Bernardino County, CA Sanitation Department.
She was twice married, first to the late Horace David Griffin and was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Olivia Alexander; and a brother, Ralph Smith.
Surviving are her children, Linda Alexander Zualet of Ninety Six, Geneva Rae Smith (Gary) of Donalds, David Albert Griffin (Kathy) of Hurley, MS, Kenny Griffin (Joy) of Greenwood and Harold Sanford Griffin (Amy) of Moreland, GA; two sisters, Mary Burson, Ocala, FL and Peggy Belshe (Ron) of Hemet, CA; three brothers, James Smith of Ninety Six, Robert D. Smith (Eunice) of Rancho Cucamonga, CA and Dan E. Smith (Jeri) of San Marcos, CA; nine grandchildren, Stephanie Lewis (Jeff), Brian Alexander (April) Kyle West Griffin, Johnny Smith (Tonya), Lee Smith (Missy), Joshua Allen Griffin (Macy), Christopher Ryan Griffin (Sara), David Lewis Griffin and Tiffany Taylor Cacuzza (Ben); several great grandchildren; and special nephew, Ralph Smith.
Services will be held at two o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenny Griffin officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Harold Griffin, David Lewis Griffin, David Griffin, Jeff Lewis, Ralph Smith and Brian Alexander.
The family will receive friends before the service at the funeral home from twelve noon until two o'clock.
