Dorothy Jean McFalls Brewster, 72, of Greenwood, widow of Charles Edgar Brewster, passed away Monday, October 20, 2025 at Self Regional Medical Center.
Born on January 22, 1953 in Chester, SC she was a daughter of the late J.D. McFalls and Thelma Turner McFalls.
Dorothy built a fulfilling career as a parts technician at FL Aerospace, where her meticulous nature and dedication made her a respected colleague.
While her work was important, Dorothy's true passion was her family, whom she loved dearly. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were truly her heart, and she took immense joy in every moment spent with them, cherishing their milestones and creating lasting memories.
Her deep capacity for love extended to her beloved four-legged companions. Dorothy's three furbabies, Katie, Brandy, and Reese, were treated like humans, enjoying a spoiled life filled with affection, treats, and endless cuddles.
Dorothy was a former, faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church, where she enjoyed fellowship and shared her faith.
She is survived by her children, Kathy Cannon (John) and Joey Brewster (Christie); brother, Larry McFalls (Sheila); grandchildren, Anna Grace Brewster, Ethan Brewster, Hannah Williams, and Kayla McDaniel (Stephen); and great grandchildren, Jordan Beair, Wrenleigh Beair, Ellie McDaniel, Charles McDaniel, Hudson and Judson McDaniel.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Betty McFalls and three brothers, Richard McFalls, Lanny McFalls, and Daniel McFalls.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy Ouzts officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends before the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
