Dorothy Amelia Burnett Lance Coonfield, 94, formerly of Karlie Court, wife of Buddy Gay Coonfield, died Friday, August 23, 2019 at Southpointe Healthcare and Rehab, Greenville.

Born in Cross Hill, she was a daughter of the late Mattie Carroll Major and Arthur Burnett. She was retired from Belk and was a member of Harris Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband of Southpointe Healthcare and Rehab; her daughters, Rita D. Lance of Greenville and Jacqueline Ann Weaver of Wyoming; her son, Michael R. Lance of Greenwood; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her by daughter, Sandra "Sandi" G. Lance; sisters, Lennie Davenport and Bea Stevens; by her brothers, James Burnett and Fred "Bubba" Lankford; and by her first husband Ralph W. Lance.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Frank Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Family members are at their respective homes.
