Dorothy Owings Fagan, 86, resident of NHC, widow of Marvin Thomas Fagan, Sr., died Monday, March 11, 2013 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late William Dewey and Mary Elizabeth Allen Owings. She was retired from Grendel Mill and was a charter member of Emerald Baptist Church. Surviving is her daughter, Marcia �Peggy� Mattison (Ken) of Greenwood; her son, Marvin �Chip� Fagan, Jr. (Pam) of Greenwood; a sister, Katherine Brewington of Hickory, NC; a brother, Charles Owings of Lumberton, NC; three grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; a great great grandchild and a special friend, Hope Jones of Abbeville. She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother, Billy Owings.
