She is survived by her brother Charles "Bob" Hartigan; her sons, William (Teresa) Zazula and James (April) Zazula; her daughter, Mary Anne Monarch; grandchildren, Ralph (Kelly), Catherine (Jason), Ruth (Corey,) James (Jennifer), Joshua (Michelle), Becky (Cory), Megan (Jon) and John (Sada); and sixteen great grandchildren.
Private services will be held in Chicago at a date to be announced.
Rather than flowers or donations, the family asks only that you treasure the people you love and take every opportunity to tell them.
Lastly, raise a glass for an Irish toast that "she be in heaven 40 years before the devil knows she's gone".
