Lillie Bell �Dot� Bowick Parsons, 87, of 608 Carolina Street, McCormick, died Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in McCormick, she was the daughter of the late Garfield Augustus and Ada Bon Bowick. She enjoyed her retirement from Milliken and was a member of McCormick ARP Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Mack Parsons and all of her sisters and brothers. Surviving are two grandsons, Chevis Bon Parsons of Columbia and Lt. Col. Lamar Parsons of Ft. Lewis, WA; great grandsons, Nick and Will Parsons of Ft. Lewis; her daughter-in-law, Mamie Sligh Parsons of Clinton; nieces and nephews, Martha Sue Dukes and Miriam Laswell, both of McCormick, Peggy Beasley and Lonnie McManus, both of Greenwood and Dorothy Whatley of the Columbia area.
